In this paper, we study the economic feasibility of an environmentally friendly power supply system for rural telecommunication station in the city of Skikda, northeast Algeria. The Should Algeria invest in wind energy? The Algerian government has established an attractive policy to encourage. . Algeria currently generates a relatively small amount of its electricity (e., three percent or 686 MW annually), from renewable sources, including solar (448 MW), hydro (228 MW), and wind (10 MW). However,building a glo al power system dominated by solar and wind energy presents immense challenges. Here,we demonstrate the potentialof a globally i terconnected solar-wind. . Algeria, with its vast solar radiation and strong wind corridors, has significant potential to become a regional leader in renewable energy. Howeve r, despite ambitious Sonatrach, Algeria"s national oil company, is also launching sizeable solar power projects to transition from oil and gas power. .
