BayWa r.e. has brought online over 6 GW of renewable energy and manages more than 12 GW of assets. Our shareholders are BayWa AG and Energy Infrastructure Partners. Battery energy storage systems (BESS) play a crucial role in grid infrastructure by storing energy from renewable sources, which can then be released on demand.
Our activities include the planning, development and construction of wind, solar, and battery storage systems (BESS), their operation and maintenance as well as energy trading. We are also a leading global supplier to the solar distribution market. BayWa r.e. has brought online over 6 GW of renewable energy and manages more than 12 GW of assets.
BayWa r.e. is transforming into an Independent Power Producer (IPP). Our activities include the planning, development and construction of wind, solar, and battery storage systems (BESS), their operation and maintenance as well as energy trading. We are also a leading global supplier to the solar distribution market.
Battery energy storage systems are keeping grids stable, with a greater renewable energy share, and cutting long-term CO 2 emissions. Investors, local authorities, and landowners count on BayWa r.e. to take their BESS from project origination to installation.
