The facility is expected to deliver 1GW of continuous power 24/7, avoid around 5.7 million tonnes of carbon emissions annually, and is scheduled to be operational by 2027. Ahmed Ali Alshamsi, EWEC CEO, noted the project's role in supporting the UAE's AI-driven economic growth and the nation's broader energy diversification objectives.
